Conditions like ADHD, autism, and dyslexia cause individuals’ brains to work differently than what is considered ‘typical’ for society at large. The skills and energy required for an individual with neurological divergence to cope with everyday life pose a significant risk of burnout. Common struggles we support clients with include:
Emotion Regulation — emotions are felt intensely while the ability to respond in a neutral or calm demeanor is greatly challenged
Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) — intense emotional pain from criticism
Sensory Overload — information collected from the 5 senses exceeds processing capacity
Masking — adapting behavior and personality traits to fit ‘normal’ expectations
Social Belonging — longing for authentic connection without masking
Executive Functioning — decreased ability to organize, focus, and complete routine tasks following stressors and/or transitions
Time Blindness — difficulty estimating how long something will take or recognizing when time has passed

It is common to experience burnout through varying stages of our occupational careers. The World Health Organization (WHO) explains burnout as “a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. It is characterized by three dimensions: (1) feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion; (2) increased mental distance from one’s job, or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one's job; and (3) reduced professional efficacy” (ICD-11).
We help clients overcome job burnout whether it means changing their surroundings or changing themselves. Common goals we support include:
Stay & Advocate for Change — Maybe you like the job but need to change some things to avoid depleting your resilience. Start with a ‘love and loathe’ list and then break down the complex challenges into solvable pain points. Gain confidence to advocate for yourself or your teams and plan for the possible outcomes.
Personal Improvement — Maybe the workplace isn’t what needs the attention. Inner critics get overly active. Relationships with business partners, leaders, and direct reports get strained. Our ability to manage everything wanes. And in the midst of all the busyness, productivity, and achievement a sense of self and what’s important can be lost.
Tuning up our resilience typically means working on mindset, emotional intelligence, or executive functioning skills.
Foundationally restoring resilience opens the door to revisit your sense of purpose and passion, using work as part of your mission.
Restructure & Chase the Dream — Why should companies be the only ones to merge, acquire, or restructure when there is an opportunity to achieve new growth, gain efficiencies, or cut their losses? We’re the ones with a life to live and leave no regrets on the table. Whether you know the job you want or need guidance in finding work that aligns to your sense of purpose and passions, we will help you navigate the waters of change with clear values, focused outcomes, and practical action plans.

Many people are experiencing spiritual and mid-life awakenings, exploring deeper connection with their inner self and desiring greater fulfillment in life.
Awakenings are accompanied by a flood of emotions and thoughts, as well as an intense sense of urgency to narrow the gap between our current reality what we know to be attainable as our consciousness expands.
Typical signs of an awakening include:
-
